With the Ace Iron Horse, Ariel is showing a brand new and spectacular looking naked bike at the Motorcycle Live Show in Birmingham on November 16, 2019, which can be individually adapted to customer requirements.

For those for whom Ariel motorcycles are not already individual enough, the English manufacturer will be offering a new model from next year that can be easily adapted from the factory to your own requirements. Although it represents A.riel a certain basis, which is then expanded accordingly by the customer. Ariel is also pursuing a similar strategy with the Ace models that are already available. However, Ariel has not yet revealed what options are available with the new Iron Horse. For other Ace models, for example, you can currently choose between different benches, spring elements, rims and exhaust systems in the configurator.

Engine comes from the Honda VFR 1200

Similar to the other Ariel motorcycles, the new Ariel Ace Iron Horse uses a polished, CNC-milled frame made of aluminum, which, according to the manufacturer, takes 70 hours of work. Also on board is the so-called Girder fork construction from Ariel and fully adjustable Ohlins TTX suspension elements. The rear dampers are also from Ohlins. The new Ariel model is powered by a V4 engine with 1,237 cm³ from Honda, which develops 175 hp at 10,000 rpm and should be able to accelerate from 0 to 100 km / h in just under three seconds. Incidentally, at Honda, the drive is used on the VFR 1200. At the maximum speed, Ace indicates just under 273 km / h.

Some parts made of carbon are also used in the new Ace Iron Horse.

Apart from the carbon parts, for example the tank, almost every component can be polished up as desired. The bench is kept in a simple black. Also included are adjustable footrests, LED lighting, LCD instruments and braking elements from Nissin. ABS and traction control are also on board. The Ariel Ace Iron Horse is said to cost the equivalent of just under 35,000 euros. The new Ariel bike was created in honor of the Black Ariels from 1926.
