Cleaning dirty rims is not always easy. Wheel cleaners like Dr. Wack P21S are designed to simplify the procedure significantly. The first test reveals how well this works.

It is well known that rims are among the parts on a motorcycle that get dirty the fastest and most. And it is the components that are usually the most difficult to get clean, especially wire-spoke rims. The P21S wheel rim cleaner in gel form is a great help in making your beloved wheels shine again.

The scent is reminiscent of chewing gum

Depending on the degree of soiling, the cleaner should act for three to ten minutes. The gel scores with high adhesive strength and can therefore be used sparingly. Rinsed off with water, the gel foams and removes even stubborn dirt such as residues of chain grease and brake dust. When you wipe them with a sponge, these have already disappeared, so to speak “wipe and away”. Paint or chrome parts were not dull or otherwise impaired in our tests.

The bright pink color of the cleaner helps to find areas that have not yet been treated. The smell is reminiscent of chewing gum. A bit annoying: The bottle is robust, but the spray head wobbled on the tested model and did not always hold tight. A big plus point for home use is the biodegradability of the cleaner. The manufacturer nevertheless recommends using protective gloves. The gel is also available as a 100 milliliter test bottle and as a refill bottle with 1, 2 or 5 liters.

Conclusion

In the first test, the rim cleaner from Dr. Wack make a good impression. We liked the cleaning power of the user-friendly gel. There are negative points for the leaky spray head.
