Frog helmet holder – not only for motorcycle helmets
Small, light and award-winning

For motorcycle helmets, bicycle, ski, skate and riding helmets, as well as all other round and sturdy headguards that tend to roll away or scratch when you put them down somewhere: Frog offers a practical solution.

Every helmet wearer knows this – you take off your head protection and look around where the helmet can be stored, hung, or stored. Without scratching, without rolling away, without getting dirty. Sounds like a trifle? It is. That’s why there is now a small solution: The Frog helmet holder made of polyurethane.

Helmet holder with and without adhesive surface

It is available for the trouser pocket in the version without an adhesive surface. Another and for most of them probably more sustainable solution is the helmet holder with an adhesive surface – either on the inside for attachment to the helmet directly, or on the outside for attachment to a fixed place in the cloakroom, in the garage or wherever.

According to the manufacturer, nobody has to worry about the surface of the helmet, the high-performance acrylic adhesive comes from 3M, the manufacturer who also takes care of the adhesive surfaces of the GoPro cameras. If you want to place the Frog directly on the helmet, you can choose between the top and the back. Then determine the center of gravity – for this it is best to hold the helmet by the strap – clean the selected point, remove the protective film from the adhesive surface and press the Frog firmly onto the helmet.

Price and availability

The helmet holder is around seven centimeters long and slightly higher than one centimeter at the thickest point. It was designed and developed by a start-up from Barcelona that has already won the A’Design Award for product design. A campaign on the Frog is currently running on kickstarter.com, a large crowdfunding platform. An Early Bird Frog is available for ten euros in January 2020, and normal delivery for 15 euros each from February. There is a volume discount from two copies – interesting for everyone who wants to use the helmet holder, color-coordinated, for several helmets or storage locations.
