Harley Ultra Limited on ebay

After his scooter accident in Sardinia, the Hollywood star apparently wants to give up motorcycling. Or rather, must. For the sake of the marital peace.

Until Monday, March 15. November, 9 pm (CET), an unusual auction is running on the US side of ebay: advertised by “homes.for.our-troops” there is practically as good as new Harley-Davidson Ultra Limited to be bought by Hollywood star George Clooney. A photo uploaded in the ad and the U.S. vehicle registration document suggest the listing is genuine. Accordingly, the fully equipped touring Harley with Milwaukee Eight 107 engine has just 25 miles on the clock.

The reason for the sale, on the other hand, is rather curious: “Since his motorcycle accident, his wife Amal has kept telling him that motorcycling is over now” (O-Ton: Ever since George Clooney’s motorcycle accident, his wife Amal has told him he’s off two wheels for good).

Donation goes to “Homes for our troops”

The offer is for a 2017 model year Harley-Davidson FLHTK Ultra Limited. It has just 25 miles on the clock.

In July 2018, Clooney was very lucky when he only got bruises in an accident with a Yamaha Tmax in Sardinia. Now his wife Amal Clooney, a lawyer by profession, seems to be putting pressure on him to give up his hobby entirely. In an interview with MOTORRAD in 2011 (issue 23), the actor was very frank about his passion and said that he owned a number of machines in the USA, especially Harleys and Indians.

The current bid for Clooney’s Harley is just under $ 35,000 a good three days before the end of the auction. The proceeds will go to the US charity Homes for our troops, which wants to offer wounded American war veterans apartments specially tailored to their needs.
