CB 650 R Flat Tracker
Honda Europe
Built by: ADN Motos in Cognac, France.
Motto: “In the spirit of vintage flat track and supermotard, here is our little gem.”
ADN Motos CB 650 R clones the flat-track DNA of the CB. The long Storz tail is a custom-made product, as is the license plate holder attached to the swing arm, along with the lighting and the new lamp mask. Kineo spoked wheels and Acerbis hand protectors provide a pinch of off-road, the Arrow exhaust system with two rear silencers underlines the sporty note, as do the Dunlop Mutant tires, which look like cut slicks.
CB 650 R KarbOne Edition
Honda Europe
Built by: AZ Moto in Rouen, France.
Motto: “A homage to the spirit of a famous and legendary model – the Honda CB750 FOUR K0. “
The CB 750 Four “K0” stunned the world in 1969. The modern era of motorcycling began with this motorcycle. AZ Motos CB 650 R KarbOne pays tribute with a golden metallic paintwork. SEB Auto Shop designs and creates the custom-made carbon parts of the new rear fairing and the headlight surround. The Kineo spoke rims are fitted with Dunlop Mutant tires. The engine, handlebars, shock absorbers and valve cover are shown in deep black.
CB 650 R Cafe Racer
Honda Europe
Built by: Blanmoto Honda in Girona, Spain.
Motto: “A celebration of our custom dreams, and of a business founded in 1928. ”
With the CB 650 R, Blanmoto has taken a path that “Steam punk meets cafe racer” called. And although the look has been completely changed, many of the parts used are from “mainstream”-Suppliers such as Puig, PSR, Givi and Rizoma. The bench has been modified and re-upholstered (along with padded side covers). An attractive bolt-on conversion that is easy to implement.
CB 650 R Four Limited Edition
Honda Europe
Built by: Espace Motos in Angers, France.
Motto: “Neo Sports Cafe rides the legendary CB750 Four.”
For Espace Motos, the legendary CB 750 Four lives on in the spirit of the Neo Sports Cafe family. To show their respect, they swapped the seat for a raised, flatter brown leather seat and painted it in green with gold pinstripes. The Honda logo from the 80s goes with it. Handlebar end mirrors, black footrests and scrambler tires complete the makeover.
CB 650 R Akira
Honda Europe
Built by: Hakuba Motor in Santander, Spain.
Motto: “If there is a word that defines our concept then it is kaizen. “
Derived from the Japanese word kaizen, what “improvement” means, the sleek Akira CB 650 R from Hakuba Motor stands for the constant striving for improvement, no matter how small they may be. The single bench is laminated from carbon and saddled with a seat made from nubuck leather. The stubs are mounted under the fork bridge and the electronics are now in their own compartment under the seat. An Arrow silencer made of titanium underlines the minimalist design.
CB 650 R Fenix
Honda Europe
Built by: Mototrofa Honda in Trofa, Portugal.
Motto: “The name was obvious to us as, in 2019, our workshop was completely destroyed … “
As a symbol of renewal, the CB 650 R Fenix is a special symbol for the entire Mototrofa team, whose business has risen from the ashes of a devastating fire. The single-sided swing arm and the rear wheel come from a VFR 750 F, the front wheel from a CBR 900 RR Fireblade. Other custom-made products include the seat and the rear fairing. The ’93’ livery (by Nexx Helmets) pays homage to Marc Marquez as well as the year Mototrofa was founded.
CB 650 R BMX
Honda Europe
Built by: Werther in Nice, France.
Motto: “Fun and stylish, just like doing a wheelie on a BMX bike. “
The Werther machine evokes the great era of BMX stunt bikes. The glossy black paintwork attracts attention, as does the black fork, the golden engine housing and the wheels. Not to forget the whitewall tires and the Akrapovič complete system, which frame all conversions downwards. An NMB design seat, adjustable levers and handles set accents, while the smoke paint on the headlights and indicators are rather subtle details.
CB 650 R Hedicon
Honda Europe
Built by: Motor Sport in Madrid, Spain.
Motto: “Our CB650R Motorsport represents the transversal spirit of Honda, breaking the barrier that separate cars from motorcycles… ”.
As a tribute to Honda sports history, Motor Sport used the 1966 Brabham Honda BT18 racing car as a template. The unique, subtle green and yellow paintwork of the motorcycle is complemented by blackened handlebars, footrests, fork and wheels. And just like in a car, the centerpiece is the inline four-cylinder engine, the valve cover of which is yellow. A complete Akrapovič system made of titanium should ensure a finely tuned driving experience. The seat cover and the front spoiler are made of carbon.

The iconic red, white and blue color scheme, the Honda logos – seamlessly inserted by A Brax Custom Painting – and the bikini trim instantly bring the 1970s back to life.

Many are beautiful, but also impassable.
Better to leave it in its original condition.
Conclusion
These ten very different conversions of the CB 650 R from Honda also show that the mid-range naked bike is an extremely good basis for tasteful conversions. Whether you are installing a single-sided swing arm or designing your dream Honda with a bolt-on: the basis is right.
