Trailer specialist Humbauer is adding the new HKPA box trailer to its portfolio. With its box body, it is predestined for motorcycle transport, but can also be used in a variety of ways.

The structure of the new, single-axis Humbaur HKPA consists of double-walled, anodized aluminum profiles. The polybug is aerodynamically shaped. The base plate is stable and 18 mm thick. The special thing about it: Airline rails are integrated on both sides and in the middle of the base plate. The lashing rings can be relocated in these rails completely without tools and thus adapted precisely to the load. Six lashing rings are installed as standard. The aluminum ramp wall, supported by gas springs, makes it easy to load the motorcycle.

The additional, lockable side door at the front right is also practical. Additional standard equipment includes interior lighting, a 13-pin connector, a reversing light, a fully automatic support wheel with a maneuvering handle and two extendable supports at the rear and wheel chocks.

Single-axle vehicle with 910 kg payload

With an inside length of 328 cm, an inside width of 177 cm and an inside height of 180 cm, the HKPA 153217 is the smallest trailer. As a mono-axle vehicle, it has a payload of 910 kg – with a total weight of 1,500 kg. The external dimensions are 4.55 meters long, 2.39 meters high and 2.27 meters wide. The loading height of the braked trailer is given as 56 centimeters.

It offers enough space for two motorcycles. In addition, two tandem axle models with the same internal dimensions are available. The HKPA 203217 has a total weight of 2,000 kg and a payload of 1,340 kg. The HKPA 263217 has an even higher payload: an impressive 1,900 kg is easily enough even for heavy motorcycles.

The prices for the new Humbaur HKPA start at around 6,611 euros. The two-axle vehicles start at the same price of around 6,959 euros.

Conclusion

Such a fully poly aluminum luggage tag is practical, as it ensures safe and clean transport of up to two motorcycles. At a price of around 6,600 euros, you have to want to afford it.
