Of course we speak at Kellermann Daycan system of a retrofit daytime running light with LED technology. And of course the accessories come from motorcycle lighting technology specialists with ECE approval. The accessory light is optionally available as a pure daytime running light, but Kellermann also offers the product with an integrated flashing function. From a technical point of view, both the Kellermann Daycan and the Daycan I with flashing function can be installed on almost all motorcycles with and without original daytime running lights. If the bike is already equipped with daytime running lights, the Daycan must replace the existing lamps, as a maximum of two daytime running lights symmetrical to the vehicle’s median longitudinal plane are permitted. And the Daycan I even makes the front turn signals superfluous.

Kellermann Daycan modes

“Sensationally bright” the spotlights should be in daytime running light mode. This mode is activated when the low beam is off. If the dipped beam of the motorcycle is switched on, the Kellermann lights automatically switch to the somewhat more elegant mode of the position lights. If the Daycan I, i.e. the daytime running light with integrated flashing function, is installed, the entire light surface changes from white to yellow when the flashing process occurs.
