Under the title Soulbreaker, the Sportster models from Harley-Davidson become scramblers. Lord Drake Kustoms from Spain is responsible for the conversion.

the Harley-Davidson Sportster models – whether with 883 or 1,200 cc displacement – are popular basic bikes with customizers. Fran Manen from Lord Drake Kustoms from Malaga in Spain also likes to use the little Harleys.

A small series of ten motorcycles is currently being developed based on the Sportster, which mutates the chopper model into a veritable scrambler. The first two machines have already been sold to Austria and Great Britain.

Wheels and ground clearance grow

On the way to the Scrambler, the Sportster’s rear wheel grows to 18 inches. At the front, the customer can choose between a 19 and a 21 inch rim. They are fitted with coarse-tread Conti Twinduro tires and spanned by high-mounted stub fenders. The wire spoke rims are contributed by Fat Daddy. An extended fork and longer stereo struts with a reservoir ensure the right ground clearance. The original tank, on the other hand, has shrunk – it fits better with the line in which the driver integrates himself on a new, small seat roll, while his feet find a secure hold on new pegs.

Chain instead of belt

The inside of the V2 motors remains untouched, but there are modifications in the periphery. More permissive air filters make breathing easier. On the exhaust side stand next to a Vance&Hines-2-in-1 system further exhaust options to choose from. The final drive shows itself converted from toothed belt to chain. A speedometer integrated into the clamp of the wide tubular handlebar serves as a minimalist source of information. The license plate moves to the side of the swing arm. The front LED indicators are in the handlebars, the rear ones are on the spring struts, and the rear light is in the fender. A small round headlight in front of the fork completes the lighting.

Lord Drake Kustoms does not name prices for the modification called Soulbreaker. However, that should depend heavily on the components and options selected anyway.

Many are beautiful, but also impassable.

Better to leave it in its original condition.

Conclusion

Harley-Davidson itself now has a real Enduro in its program with the Pan America. The field of scramblers is still left to the customizers at the factory.
