The Motorrader Dortmund 2019 trade fair will take place from February 28th to March 3rd in the Westfalenhallen Dortmund. The MOTORRAD editorial team will also be represented with a stand and a show stage. You can find us in hall 3, booth 302.

Motorcycles 2019 will open its doors from February 28th to March 3rd. As in previous years, exhibitors and visitors are spread across five exhibition halls (3, 4, 5, 6, 7) and a total of around 36,000 square meters of exhibition space. In addition to numerous motorcycle innovations that have not yet been presented in Germany, the around 500 exhibitors will also be showing a large number of new products from the areas of clothing, service and accessories.

There are three stages in the halls and in the outdoor area for show and action. In addition to the action area with the Monster Trial Show, our MOTORRAD stage will also be used in Hall 3, while stunt demonstrations will take place outside in the steel ball. Particularly interesting machines are honored with special shows, from the classic Honda CB 750 to the superbikes.

In the steel ball “Globe of Speed” Up to 5 motorcyclists chase each other and perform daring rides upside down.

The manufacturers Aprilia, BMW, Ducati, Harley, Kawasaki, KTM, Suzuki, Triumph and Yamaha are represented in Halls 3 and 4 with large factory stands, as are other brands, scooters, conversions, tire manufacturers and accessories providers. Tour operators, hotels and the touring stage can be found in Hall 5, where service and clothing are also key topics.

The custom area is a growing market. Conversions in Hall 6 take up more space than in the previous year and the range of specialists for sporty accessories has also increased.

Hall 7 is the “classic hall”, in which Honda is a big topic this year. “For the 50th birthday of the Honda CB four-cylinder, the trade fair organizers, together with clubs and private collectors, have prepared a fantastic special exhibition that shows many rarities from the long CB 750 history and the diversity of the global bestseller,” said the organizer in advance.

Traditionally, comic artist Holger Aue joins the MOTORRAD stand at Motorrader Dortmund. He signs comic books, calendars, breakfast boards, mugs and T-shirts on Saturday and Sunday at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. – all of which can be purchased on site.

Of course we have the red MOTORRAD cult mugs including coffee in our luggage again. For MOTORRAD heroes there is a free cup with filling on presentation of the hero’s ID.

Opening times, prices, parking spaces

Good news: BVB will be playing away on the weekend of the fair. There are plenty of parking spaces for motorcycle fans. For Dortmund newbies: The stadium is right next to the exhibition halls.
