In the dusty outback it is sometimes desert-like hot, but always nice and dry. Here kangaroos rule nature – and the roadside. The landscape is slow to change, but it does. Uluru, the holy mountain, is an oasis in the midst of a surreal lunar landscape – worth the trip in itself. When the first koalas crouch in the trees, you have arrived – at the other end of Down Under.

Relic of bygone colonial rule and true to the original in good tradition, almost unchanged for 50 years. A brand new classic car that makes the journey a destination more than other motorcycles. The roads are amazingly good, almost all of them paved. And that in an area that just a few years ago was completely shielded from tourism.
