Friedrich
28/60
Pascal Friedrich: “My license plate is actually quite amusing too. H – UR30 Actually, UR was the abbreviation of my crew, but if you turn the 3 around, so to speak to an E, HURE comes out (you can ignore the zero) But I only noticed when I was asked about it. :)”
Bessin
29/60
Michael Bessin: “I have D-RN 12 on my Yamaha R1 RN12. It’s not very creative but I was happy that it was free.”
Bridge man
30/60
Frank Stegemann: “the license plate ‘CU 666’ happened to be free and of course had to be reserved right away – ‘See You, Teufel’ is now on my Simson Super 80 (for the type see test in Motorrad 15/1983) and the moped is now only called by us “‘little green devil'”
celebration
31/60
Peggy Celebration: “Hello, our name is Peggy and Peter, we both drive BMW GS. License plate meaning Peters Q and Qalfchen from Peggy. We have the 6 series on every license plate. For cars 6666 and two-wheelers 66”
Gonther
32/60
Tobias Gonther: “Enclosed I am sending you my 1999 Yamaha R1 with the appropriate license plate regarding the license plate campaign. The R1 from Yamaha has been my dream motorcycle since I saw it for the first time, how could it be any different as a VR46 fan (his Ducati excursion is forgiven him: D). As an apprentice and future student, she is everything to me, so I saved up for a long time. It took me just as long to convince the guys of the registration office, since license plates with only 1 letter and 1 number are not approved except in special cases.”
Domschke
33/60
Lisa Domschke: “I lived in Chemnitz for a few years … I also got my motorcycle license there. My motorcycle is a Honda CBF600, so the license plate was obvious! :-)”
Seeger
34/60
Philipp Seeger: “So actually I have my initials Philipp Seeger and the year 96 where I was born, but whenever I meet other motorbike drivers 1 don’t want to believe that I only have 125 and 2 mean it is also the Ps number in the back 96 of them are always fun to discuss”
Muhling

Alexander Muhling: “The one on an R1, it doesn’t need a description, does it? ;)”
Kuppenbender

Heiko Kuppenbender: “It’s good”
Bozkurt
37/60
Sebastian Bozkurt: “When I was still living in Karlsruhe, I drove my Hornet 900 and needed a license plate. But it should be something special. This is how KA CK 689 came about. The numbers stand for my birthday and the letters speak for themselves.”
Mann-Wagner
38/60
Lukas Mann-Wagner: “Hello I just read about the action on Facebook. Here my license plate number LJ stands for me (Lukas) and my girlfriend (Jeannine) 83 stands for the date since we met on 8.3.”

Pascal Stadium: “YOLO (YO10) You only live once! It goes perfectly with the hobby of motorcycling.”
Lars
40/60

Schmitz
41/60
Peter Schmitz: “Hello as ‘Rennkuh-rider’ and ‘Rennkuhwirt.de’ host of and for motorcyclists (Motorrad-Landgasthaus-Moselhohe), of course I have a license plate COC-RQ 1”

Andre Lauer: “I drive a 2015 Triumph Tiger Explorer.
The license plate TE 15 therefore stands for Tiger Explorer built in 15.”
Roese
43/60
Thomas Roese: “In the appendix you will find my desired license plate.”
Bender
44/60
Jenny Bender: “This is my dream number. Actually quite unspectacular, but for me it has a big meaning: The 9 is my lucky number (almost for a good trip at all times), the 3 refers to the machine, a Yamaha YZF R3 and the 1 for my dream – the R1! And why the XX? Because my car the “big sister” is, with XX 331.”
judge
45/60
Felix Richter: “I would be happy to send you a picture of my new Triumph Thruxton 1200. For a retro motorcycle, I find a retro license plate suitable, just as well that many old or disappeared license plates have been made available again in recent years. In my case, the old district of Buren, south of Paderborn. The great thing about the revived license plates, there are often still very popular letters or number combinations free.”
Arndt
46/60
Tobias Arndt: “What do I associate with the license plate? The Harley Davidson Forty Eight has always been my dream motorcycle. So it became my property in mid-2015. In order to give the whole thing something special, the license plate had to fit, of course. BB = Big Boy = Big boys also need big toys; TA = name = Tobias Arndt; 48 = birthday = on August 4th born; 48 = motorcycle = Forty Eight; 48 = approval = on 4.8. authorized
For me just perfect.”
Jumper
47/60
Soren Springer: “Enclosed my license plate approval for the beloved moped. So far I have used this on all of my 10 bikes, even if hardly anyone can decipher the meaning of the internal manufacturer codes immediately. In the meantime, my partner also continues the tradition.”
Haindl
48/60
Mag. Mercedes Haindl: “The story behind Puppi is long and has actually been going on since it was first registered in 2009 and 3 previous owners (who each took over the nickname) – and I officially got it for what felt like the most loyal motorcycle of all time “to baptize” to let. You don’t treat yourself to anything else. 😉 The photo was taken in Grein as part of my first trip with my recently purchased Puppi”
Strasbourg

Andreas Strasbourg: “Please borrow the ‘R’ from the Sellaronda…”

Jacobi
51/60
Marcus Jacobi: “Hello. My wife and I have also organized our custom license plates. We live in Heiligenhaus (Mettmann district) and our birthdays are in May. My wife was born in 1976, I was born in 1974. And you can read Mai from Mei too :)”
Kusenberger
52/60
Maximilian Kusenberger: “Enclosed a photo of my number 1!
The DIL license plate was abolished in 1976 and has been available again for 2 years and now adorns my 1986 XT 600 43f.”
Take care
53/60
Markus Kummerle: “After I was able to afford my dream motorcycle (a 96 Ducati 916 Biposto) almost 15 years ago and the license plate B (iposto) 916 was free, the decision for the combination was made within milliseconds. Even if my friends sometimes refer to me as a pizza express due to the size of the tray … ;-)”
Nordwig
54/60
Manfred Nordwig: “The registration number BO-LD 84 of my youngtimer stands for: ‘BOL D ‘OR with first registration 1984’. It doesn’t look like the one in the photo at the moment, as I’m converting it into a roadster. Fairing, luggage rack and indicators already dismantled.”

MOTORRAD readers and their license plates
Polarize wish labels: some are proud of theirs, others find the hidden messages of the model name, initials plus year of birth, fan or couple identification silly. How about you?
Manuel Fuchs
09/16/2010
MOTORRAD once asked its readers whether their number plate on the motorcycle had a special meaning or was just a random number generated by the registration office. We weren’t quite sure that enough material would come together for a double page, but the concern was unfounded: a wasp’s nest is nothing against it; E-mails over e-mails flooded the editorship – with pictures of silly, original, subtle or even particularly narrow wish-numbers.
