Sena offers an upgrade to better speakers for its communication systems 30K, 20S EVO, 20S, 5S, 10C EVO and 10C Pro.

Competitor Cardo has teamed up with JBL’s hi-fi experts to improve the sound quality of helmet speakers. Communication system provider has been moving since September 2020 Sena and offers new HD speakers as an upgrade kit for various systems. The delivery program has now been expanded to include additional systems.

Significantly better sound

The new premium HD speakers with a diameter of 40 millimeters were initially available as a retrofit solution for the 30K, 20S EVO and 20S systems. Upgrade kits have now been added for the Sena systems 10C EVO, 10C Pro and 5S. Owners of older helmet systems can use it to upgrade to the new HD speakers that Sena is already installing in the new top models 50R and 50S. The new speakers should deliver significantly more bass and clarity. Sena promises even better communication and, of course, even better musical enjoyment.

Upgrade from around 46 euros

The new HD speakers should also be more comfortable to wear. Beveled edges minimize friction between the ear and the speaker edge. The new HD loudspeakers also include new firmware for the communication systems in order to be able to use the full potential of the loudspeakers. The device apps have also been updated to improve the audio output. They offer new functions, including new audio equalizer presets.

Conclusion

Sena is retrofitting numerous older intercom systems with new, improved speakers. The sound quality should improve significantly, the price of around 46 euros is moderate.
