the Sena Momentum Evo is made of fiberglass and is available in two helmet shell sizes and in sizes M, L and XL. As for the color, there is only one option – matte black. The chinstrap is secured by a double-D fastener, and the breathable inner lining is removable and washable. Ventilation openings on the chin and head are intended to ensure a healthy working atmosphere. Wind deflectors are intended to reduce the noise level. The clear, scratch-resistant visor with quick-change mechanism is prepared for Pinlock. The weight is given as 1,590 grams.

Networking via mesh and Bluetooth

Smart makes the Sena Momentum Evo the all-in-one communication package that integrates the microphone and speakers completely into the helmet. When it comes to networking, the Evo relies on Bluetooth and Mesh. In the mesh network, 16 drivers can communicate with each other over a distance of up to eight kilometers, in the open network the number of users is unlimited up to 1.6 kilometers. Connections to four drivers over a distance of up to two kilometers are possible via Bluetooth.

Via Bluetooth, however, other end devices such as navigation systems or smartphones can also be integrated and controlled using voice commands. Interfering noises are actively suppressed; if there are several signal sources, the active one is highlighted and the others are dimmed.

Can be set via app

The various functions of the Momentum Evo can be customized using the app. It can be used to change device settings, program the FM radio stations, set speed dial numbers or view brief instructions. There is also the option of making international phone calls with an unlimited number of participants using the smartphone’s mobile data contingent.
