Classic design, modern technology – the pairing itself can now almost be described as classic. The Wayel W3 now joins this range of electric scooters. Wayel is an Italian brand, based in Bologna.
The Wayel W3 comes with a 4 kW motor from Bosch equipped, which does its work in the rear hub. Energy is supplied by a double lithium battery that is supposed to provide a range of 100 kilometers. The manufacturer specifies the maximum speed of the Wayel W3 at 75 km / h.
Wayel W3 packs a 30% incline
The Wayel W3 should handle a 30 percent gradient. And when the downhill is all the more agile, the combined braking system can be used to slow down the braking force so that the front and rear discs are distributed.
As I said, only the look is classic, technically the electric scooter comes with modern standards such as a colored LC display, LED headlights, integrated USB socket and alarm system. The standard equipment includes an artificial leather seat and a large helmet compartment under the seat, while the Wayel range of accessories includes a retrofittable windshield.

Attractive subsidy in Italy
The Wayel W3 is currently available in the color titanium and priced at 4,750 euros. It has not yet been offered in Germany. The offer only becomes really attractive when the subsidies for electric two-wheelers in Italy are included. If an old combustion engine is withdrawn from the market with the purchase of the e-scooter, there is a substantial subsidy. The bottom line is that the Wayel W3 only costs 3,193 euros. And without the scrapping bonus, the purchase incentive subsidy in Italy would still come to a price of 3,582 euros. Without assistance, the electric scooter costs 4,750 euros.
In Germany there is currently no uniform funding from the federal government – except for the ten-year exemption from vehicle tax. Otherwise, every federal state, every district, every city cooks its own soup – or maybe not.

Which electric concept on two wheels is the right one for you?
Voted 9055 times
If so, then only a powerful electric motorcycle.
I can imagine an electric scooter for commuting and city traffic.
A small, agile electric moped is definitely fun.
None at all.
Conclusion
In a direct comparison with the possible subsidies in Italy, we remind ourselves again that we have not made any further millimeter nationwide in Germany when it comes to promoting electric two-wheelers. This is a shame, especially in light of the fact that more and more people generally want to switch to two-wheelers – at least for commuter traffic.
