Many BMW customers already order their bikes with a navigation system from the factory. However, many BMW customers also want to use their smartphone on their motorcycle as an option. A USB charging socket does not ensure the power supply for all models. This is where the BMW specialist now sets in Whimsical on.

The newly developed USB charging box can be inserted directly into the factory-fitted navigation holder of the navigation models Navigator V and Navigator VI, locked and locked in a theft-proof manner. Power is supplied via the contacts on the navigation bracket.

The charging box has two USB 3.1 Type A and USB 3.1 Type C USB ports on the right side of the housing, which meet the standards for quick charging ports QC 3.0 and QC 4.0 (QC = Quick Charge). The activity of the charging box is indicated by a blue LED control light, which is clearly visible, directly above the two USB slots. The charging box is splash-proof, the slots can be closed with elastomer covers to protect them from splashing water and dust when not in use.

Four threaded sockets with the standardized hole pattern of various fastening systems in the front of the housing allow the attachment of corresponding adapters.
