Naked bike for the 125cc class
So far, Benelli was represented in the 125cc class with the TNT 125 fun bike. At INTERMOT in Cologne, the Italians presented a new entry-level model, the BN 125.
With the presented at INTERMOT B.N 125 is sending Benelli a new naked bike into the hotly contested segment of the eight-liter class. The new little one adopts its lines from the sister models BN 302 and BN 600 I ABS.
Striking tubular space frame
With its angular design, the eye-catching, red tubular frame and the Benelli lion on the tank, the BN 125 is recognizable from afar. There are no detailed information on the air-cooled four-stroke engine with electronic injection. That should be taken over from the TNT 125 and thus bring almost 12 HP and 10 Nm to the start. It is shifted by a five-speed gearbox. Consumption should be 1.7 liters per 100 kilometers.
At the front, the BN 125 has an upside-down fork that carries a 17-inch cast wheel with 100/80 tires. At the rear, a 130/70 tire rotates in a two-arm swing arm with a central spring strut on a 17-inch rim. The brake system uses wave brake discs at the front and rear, as well as a combined actuation.
The Benelli BN 125 is expected to go on sale in spring 2019. Prices have not yet been announced.
