When Bimota enters the street-fighter niche, you have to expect something exuberant, gripping, violent, and somewhat untouchable. At the manufacturer, only one roadster, the Delirio, allowed to taste the flat handlebar Bimota sauce. This DB9 Brivido now makes it possible to move up a gear with more aggressiveness in the lines as in the boiler. Powerful and cut to the limit, the DB9 is nothing less than a DB8 projected into the roadster dimension. The lineage is obvious, but the lines are even tighter, more bloody, with a chiseling aggressiveness. Special mention for the flint-cut front mudguard and the artefact fork crown.
In addition to its increasingly marked stylistic singularity, the small but well-known Italian brand is once again distinguished by the choice of materials and the technique used. Everything is beautiful, precious, noble, envied. The frame alone makes you drool: a perimeter in chrome-molybdenum tubes bolted to side plates in aluminum cut in the mass. The swing arm is designed on the same scheme. Peripherals? Stitched on a hypersport: 4-piston monobloc Brembo calipers, Extrem Tech shock absorber, titanium and carbon pot, carbon trim, OZ rims, Michelin Power One quasi-slick tires…
