With 2017 and an upgrade for Euro4, the little Behème receives its first modifications since its appearance in 2013. Now you can choose a “Road” or “Rain” atmosphere for trips and mops. The “Road” prevails for every day, the “Rain” will be more adequate in difficult conditions. Perhaps your cravings will cause a stronger wish?!? In this case, a small passage through the option box will offer you a “Dynamic” mode, revealing a more sporty piloting.
The transplant of the Piloting Modes has a slight impact on the on-board instrumentation: it is enriched by an engine fault indicator and the display of the so-called Modes.

A judicious update for the F 800 GT, without touching its fundamentals that should be remembered. Derived from and replacing the F 800 ST, the GT gives off a much more dynamic impression, mainly thanks to its more generous and sportingly designed fairing panels. With its larger bubble, the Behème has gained in protection. Apart from the saddle, the rear part remains that of the ST.

Its twin-cylinder 798 cm3 delivers a maximum power of 90 hp at 8000 rpm. And a nice maximum torque of 8.8 mkg. A 48 hp flanged version for young people with A2 licenses is also available. Under its casing, there is a double aluminum beam frame, a classic 43 mm fork, the unique location of the fuel flap, brake discs without frets, standard ABS, belt transmission and a few small ones. + improving the efficiency of this 800 traveler. Compared to the ex-ST, lightened rims, a single swingarm extended by 50 mm for more stability, a suspension height reduced by 15 mm, and more engaging ergonomics. With the handlebars raised by 20mm, a saddle down from 840 to 800mm and footrests now 10mm further forward and 10mm lower, the rider will find a more relaxed riding position..

In addition to the Driving Modes, this small GT benefits from some assistance usually reserved for more upscale machines. As an option, you can use the disconnectable ASC traction control and / or ESA, the controlled suspension. The Electronic Suspension Adjustment allows here to electronically adjust the rebound of the rear shock absorber in 3 modes: comfort, normal or sport.

This F 800 GT is clearly the youngest female traveler from Bavaria and one of the few small GTs available on the market. Its payload 207 kilos maxi allows to carry many effects and luggage. This is where the accessories and options department comes in: 55-liter suitcases, 28-liter top-case, GPS Navigator IV, several types of saddle, heated grips, Akrapovic silencer, etc., etc., and more.
