What did you do in 2012?!? A little facelift. I had the same clothes since 2009, I wanted to change. This is what the F 800 R replied when its friends accosted it at the bend of a curve here. It continued with a virolo there, and the BMW roadster of unpretentious teasing. The fierce competition, the voracity of Husqvarna’s new cousin Nuda 900, the madness of the horses … All this did not shake the F 800 R which remains unchanged for 2013, apart from the new collection of colors.

Do you mean that …? I mean we find the same engine, the same chassis, the same motorcycle technically. The twin remains the 798 cm3, released on the F 800 S and ST. A nice but discreet engine, well supported by a very pleasant sporty sound when you take it to play in higher revs. This twin-cylinder unveils a much more sparkling face in the second half of the tachometer.
Same part-cycle; agile, efficient, good braking and easy to learn. This F 800 R phase 2 evolves only on the side of the shoulders and the finish. New more imposing sidewalls give more character to the roadster, while hiding the radiator. The front fender is now painted in body color, the turn signals turn white, and Behème now supplies the sport screen as standard. ABS is available as an option, as is the possibility of flirting with youth: the engine can be calmed down in the 48 horsepower A2 version..
