After 10 years at BMW, Andrea Buzzoni returns to Ducati

Andrea Buzzoni, Managing Director of BMW Motorrad Italia for a decade, is back at Ducati as Sales and Marketing Director, a position he has officially held since this morning. He succeeds Cristiano Silei.

"Born in Milan and graduated in political science", sums up Ducati, Andrea Buzzoni "has acquired his experience working for more than 17 years in the world of motorcycles, in the field of commerce and marketing". He was notably Managing Director of the German subsidiary of Ducati between 2001 and 2004.

Since then, Signore Buzzoni has held the position of Managing Director at BMW Motorrad Italia. "His passion for motorcycles and his extensive experience in the management of trade and marketing of premium brands will be a key factor for the growth of Borgo Panigale’s company", therefore assure the Reds.

French bikers fans of Superbike and / or Sylvain Barrier (read) also know that this 45-year-old man is fond of motorcycle sport: "his commitment to the world of racing was also very important. First of all, he managed the Superbike World Championship project for BMW Motorrad Italia, then the official Superbike World Championship team ", recalls Ducati.

Andrea Buzzoni therefore started his new duties this morning, replacing a certain Cristiano Silei. Ducati boss Claudio Domenicali does not forget to congratulate his former vice-president of sales and marketing, who has set off for a "new professional challenge"…
