Things are also moving at HRC !

As often at Honda, the organization chart changes at the beginning of April: in addition to the changes announced in its French subsidiary, the winged crest has indicated that its prestigious Honda Racing Corporation (HRC) competition department has changed its president on April 1.

After five years at the head of the HRC, Tetsuo Suzuki (you can’t invent it!) Gives way to Yoshishige Nomura. The new president began his career at Honda in 1985 in the R&D department where he notably worked on the NR750 (and its famous oval pistons) and the fabulous RC30 and RC45.

Joined the HRC in 1994, Yoshishige Nomura then worked eight years in the engine division of the HRC, as technical manager of the development of the five-cylinder V-shaped RC211V, in particular (read our).

Yoshishige Nomura’s course at Honda ended in 2002, which did not prevent the world’s leading manufacturer of motorized two-wheelers from calling upon him to replace Mr. Suzuki at the HRC, after what the winged crest modestly calls "an absence of twelve years".

This change of presidency is accompanied by a rise in rank of Christophe Decultot, until now General Manager of the Automotive and Motorcycle Divisions, who becomes Vice-President of Honda Motor Europe Ltd – France.

The new responsibilities of Mr. Decultot will cover "all Honda divisions in France: automobiles, motorcycles and equipment products (garden, marine and industry sectors)", specifies the winged crest.

Having joined Honda in 2007, Christophe Decultot was successively general manager of the automotive industry within the French subsidiary, then of. The operational management of the equipment products division remains under the responsibility of Pierre Vallet.
