Its size brings it closer to the Yamaha TDR – error, the Supercity is closer to a sport than an urban trail. The mechanics are borrowed from the Mito, a 2 T mono which can output 34 ch unbridled (prohibited in France), a 7-speed gearbox (6 from 1998), inverted fork, reinforced swing arm and large brake disc. Everything to have fun but sportily. The suspensions are firm, the mouth aggressive, the engine is hot-blooded … The machine is precise, manoeuvrable and very efficient. Almost as virulent as the Italian 125 sports cars, life on board is much more pleasant. A TDR that would have eaten the lion – it loses in comfort what it gains in performance, namely a very average turning radius and an Italian-style chassis – effective but somewhat tough.
