Pierre-William Glenn releases The Iron Horse … rocking !

Wednesday in theaters comes out a documentary for young people, entitled – a bit heavily – "Group portrait with children and motorcycles". Of course, facing the Harry Potter "blockbuster", Pierre-William Glenn’s new documentary is no match for it, but that’s no reason to hide it !

Wednesday in theaters comes out a documentary for young people, entitled – a little heavily – "Group portrait with children and motorcycles". Of course, facing the Harry Potter "blockbuster", Pierre-William Glenn’s new documentary is no match for it, but that’s no reason to hide it !

Nicolas Dussauge, head of the FFM Academy, warned us during the 2008 JPMS: "Pierre-William Glenn is working on a feature film project". At the time, the documentary was to focus on a young girl, lover of motorbikes and violin (read). Finally, the film revolves around … all the children and their motorcycles !

Screened in a special screening at the last Cannes Film Festival – in the company of Agostini and Randyyy de Puniet – this film follows the young students – aged 8 to 14 – of this Academy like no other. "He paints delicate portraits of children overflowing with vitality and fun, surprisingly mature, who spontaneously deliver themselves to the camera, and of parents who have often nourished them with this passion from the age of the bottle", indicate our colleagues from AFP.

Written and produced by Glenn – director of the legendary "Iron Horse", Chevalier des Arts et des Lettres and Chevalier de l’Ordre du Merite, please! – the film required a long shooting which created a real bond between the director and the families he followed for more than a year, in all weathers, on the circuits.

To see the result, unfortunately only one solution – at least that’s what the allocated site indicates -: the cinema "Les Enfants du Paradis" in Chartres, Tuesday July 21 at 8:15 pm … Have a good screening !
