Financial investor is looking for a new buyer
The Italian leather clothing specialist Dainese is apparently about to go on sale. The financial fund Investcorp from Bahrain, which took over Dainese only 4 years ago, is already negotiating with potential buyers.

According to MOTORRAD information, the financial fund Investcorp from Bahrain, the Dainese and AGV are majority owned, actually sell. As reported by Italian media, a bank is said to have been commissioned with the sale. The deal should be completed in late summer 2019.
Dainese is doing well
There is basically nothing surprising about this: financial funds are designed to increase money and aim to make as much money as possible with their investments. Dainese has succeeded: The Italian manufacturer of protective clothing’s sales rose from around 120 million in 2013 to 187 million in 2017, and the trend continues to rise. Investcorp took over 80 percent of Dainese and AGV in 2014 for around 130 million euros; the company’s estimated value is now between 300 and 350 million euros. In the event of a sale, the remaining 20 percent, which belongs to the company’s founder Lino Dainese, would remain in his hands.
The potential buyers of Dainese are said to include financial groups such as Adrian and L-Catterton, but also international funds such as Carlyle and Permira.
