Dorotheum is auctioning two-wheel rarities
Classic from 1948 to 1991
Lots of rare two-wheeled classics that were built between 1948 and 1991 are being auctioned on the Dorotheum auction platform.
VEspecially the younger semesters may not know what to do with each of the manufacturers mentioned in this article. Connoisseurs and classic lovers, on the other hand, should have a lot of fun with the two-wheelers from the RRR collection offered on the Dorotheum auction platform. RRR stands for "Scooters, mobile scooters, rarities". Accordingly, there are also some scooter mobiles and tricycles in the collection. For those who do not know what to do with the term scooter, here is a brief explanation: Scooters or cabin scooters are small cars from the first years after World War II that were offered as an alternative to full-fledged passenger cars. The vehicles were partly based on components that are normally used in motorcycles and scooters.
Two-wheelers from Lambretta, Heinkel, Lohner & Co.
Since we are on a portal that primarily deals with motorcycles and scooters, the focus of this article is on the two-wheelers that are being auctioned at Dorotheum. Some two-wheelers with a sidecar have also made it into the picture gallery above. The oldest two-wheeler is from 1948. It is a Lambretta 125 M (Tipo A). The youngest two-wheeler, on the other hand, was built in 1991 and should be familiar to most motorcycle enthusiasts: the Vespa Cosa 125. Otherwise there are a lot of two-wheelers from manufacturers such as Heinkel or Lohner, which are hardly known today, in the collection. Rarities that are in great demand, such as the Suzuki RV 125 (1976), which are rarely found in this country, can also be found on the auction portal.

The Suzuki RV 125 has become a real rarity in Germany.
Not all vehicles are in good condition. The papers are also missing for some vehicles. Vehicles that have already been restored have also made it into the RRR collection. It is no longer possible to place an order online – but we did not want to withhold the various classics that you don’t see too often. There is also a buyer hotline on Dorotheum, which interested parties can still contact, at least for the moment (as of July 10, 2020). The survey

Conclusion
The two-wheelers offered at Dorotheum can easily be viewed as a journey into the past. The models offered there are rarely seen on German streets and some of them are real rarities.
