With a state-of-the-art, 15 hp and very adult looking four-stroke 125cc Daelim from South Korea to make life more difficult for the successful Honda CBR 125 R. Even when you sit up, it is convincing Roadwin 125 R with perfect ergonomics and generous space, even for tall people. Nothing undersized? the cladding with double headlights and LED indicators, the digital cockpit with analog tachometer, and the handy levers and switches could also sit on a 600.

When the starter button is pressed, the newly designed four-valve engine with water cooling and injection gives a hoarse crackling sound and brings the driver back to reality. The small single cylinder needs speeds like a two-stroke engine to start up, it should be 5000 rpm. Real life takes place between 7000 and 11000 rpm, when the 15 horses promised by importer Leeb gallop across the slopes, accompanied by a sporty sound. When turned properly, the Roadwin swings up to speedometer 125, which makes the 110 km / h specified as Vmax seem quite believable.

The chassis, fitted with Korean swallow tires, gives a calm and precise impression: the Daelim can be shooed through curves in a handy and very neutral manner. The five gears slip as if by themselves, the two disc brakes grip softly and powerfully. You can ignore the fact that some details such as the chainring and swingarm seem a bit cheap.
