At Ducat ‘, there is a hose that has exploded severely … or else, there is genius in the air. With a very “personal” style, the Multistrada shocks, both by its design and its pretensions, light years away from the legend of pure sports cars of the Italian brand.. We could vaguely compare it to a V-strom or a 900 TDM, but the Multistrada is difficult to classify. It is best enjoyed between 4000 and 6500 trs and is efficient and lively. The geometry of the chassis has been particularly worked and, although the Ducat ‘easily allows you some fantasies such as the wheeling, the precision and the stability of the front axle are bluffing. The rest of the machine follows the sequences with ease and serenity. And the activation of the brake, powerful and dosable (a little less true for the rear), does not disturb the balance of the motorcycle. The virolos are linked without downtime, with ease and a playful side that cannot offer a sportswoman. To keep pace with a 999, it would take less pleasure and above all, we would be shattered after 20 km, while the Multistrada allows you to eat it again and again. Taken on the highway, it is less at ease but allows to cut the road honorably, even more … It is not an ST4 – it is moreover much more comfortable. And above all, as long as you are upset the Ducatistes, once in town, you benefit from a NORMAL turning radius. If you want to play it even more fun, you can take it on the small roads but there, no surprise: it behaves like a big trail, not really at ease. A list of options enriches the Multistrada catalog, to make the beast either more road or more racing.
