The German Grand Prix was to take place from June 19 to 21 at the Sachsenring circuit, the Dutch Grand Prix from June 26 to 28 in Assen and the Finnish Grand Prix from July 10 to 12 on the new Kymiring.

"It is with great sadness that we announce the cancellation of these three important Grand Prix of the MotoGP calendar," said Carmelo Ezpeleta, Managing Director of Dorna Sports. "The German GP is raced on a truly unique circuit with an incredible historical heritage, and the Kymiring is an interesting new venue that would have hosted Grand Prix motorcycle races in Finland for the first time since 1982 . As for the emblematic TT Circuit in Assen, it has had the honor of being the only site to have organized an event of the FIM World Grand Prix Championship every year, without interruption, since the start of the championship in 1949 ".

"On behalf of Dorna, I would like to thank all the fans for their understanding and patience as we wait for the situation to improve. We look forward to returning to Sachsenring and the TT Circuit Assen in 2021, and we look forward to them. Kymiring debut next season ".
