The Shark Explore-R motorcycle helmet, launched in 2014, is a full-face helmet perfectly in tune with the times: designed from a road helmet (glass fiber shell, anti-scratch and anti-fog screen, removable interior ), it transforms into a typical all-terrain model thanks to the addition of a visor, a mask and even a neck strap provided as standard.

Thanks to this trick, it evolves according to the desires of road trail users, the main target of this 1450 g helmet (1350 g in carbon version). The Explore-R can thus go into the off-road with the visor and the mask (called "Google" at Shark), or be worn with the mask alone, or finally with the screen alone as a "standard road helmet. ".

In 2015, a fourth possibility is added with a very useful "screen + visor" configuration intended for motorcyclists who wish to ride on the road with a helmet reminiscent of off-road but keeping all the comfort of a road integral (photo below -above).

This fourth variation is made possible thanks to the addition of a part at the level of the fixing plates, which makes possible the combined placement of the visor and the screen. This spacer is fitted as standard on Explore-R 2015 helmets and can be added to older models for € 49.95, installation included.

Guaranteed for 5 years like all Shark helmets, the Explore-R also receives a practical removable sunscreen, a micrometric closure buckle and openings provided in the internal foams to easily slide any branches of glasses..
