The new CB 1000 R turns a page of 10 years at Honda. An episode of robotoïde daring battered by a frantic race for power, design and technology. After the time of a threat, the roadster comes to take its share of Neo Sport Cafe.
No need for a spoon, but an espresso as well as a ristretto are today often accompanied by a bit of shock or a mignardise. It’s the same here, Honda offering an accessorized version that we find under the name CB 1000 R +. So, no need to dig into the catalog; the builder took care of it. With the right measure to have a more flashy bike without falling into the have-you-saw me.
A dose of pleasure first, with heated grips and a shifter to boost the gear shift. The other accessories are devoted to style: aluminum panels for the front and rear mudguards, a spoiler above the dashboard, a radiator protection grille and a seat cowl.
What to make a little wink before and after giving free rein to the expression of its 4 cylinders whipping its 145 horses. Stretched silhouette, inverted fork, radial calipers, single-sided, traction control, 4 driving modes, engine brake control – the machine is well equipped. This ‘+’ adds a tribute of 1500 euros on the price of the CB 1000 R.
