Tried women’s motorcycle gloves

The Macna Candy are motorcycle gloves specially made for women, which should also be used to operate the smartphone without any problems. The first test reveals whether this is successful.

Oh, gloves are nice. At least if you have such a nice grip feeling immediately after slipping in. The Macna Candy flatter ladies’ paws with a tight fit, delicate goatskin on the palm and sturdy polyamide on the outside.

Smartphone operation does not always work

The gloves designed for the summer are made in China, the processing of the test copy gives no cause for criticism. The integrated Raintex membrane lets your hands breathe in summer temperatures, but no water in during summer rain showers. The rubber visor wiper on the left index finger ensures a clear view in damp weather, although it is attached to the top of the finger. This means that the wrist has to be rotated quite far when wiping.

The right index finger is equipped with a “touch tip” surface, which allows the operation of smartphones and tablets. In our case, that didn’t always work accurately, but it is enough to answer a call. We really liked the shape, specially developed for women’s hands, the fine feel and the simple but sporty look.

Noticed positively: Perfect fit and good grip, waterproof, beautiful details

Noticed negatively: “Touch Tip” function

Sizes: XS to XXL

Price: 79.95 euros

MOTORRAD verdict: 4 stars out of a possible 5

The Macna Candy scored points in the first test with a perfect fit, good grip and successful details. It is a pity that the “Touch Tip” function does not always work satisfactorily.
