On the occasion of the Bike Expo in Verona, Moto-Morini showcased its Corsaro roadster through this very limited edition. The Corsaro80 conveys the history of the manufacturer, born … 80 years ago; hence the name of this creation.
Alfonso Morini, who gave his name to the brand, was born in 1898. But it was in 1937 that he was able to found his company. Victories, titles, a strong reputation in the 70s followed, a certain 175 Settebello “Short Rods” on which Giacomo Agostini made his first race..
On the basis of the Corsaro 1200 ZZ, the Italian manufacturer has concocted 8 examples, one for each decade crossed. To celebrate this anniversary, the “80” mainly uses noble materials and finishes to stand out. This is the case with the hand-machined aluminum reservoir and the massive use of carbon: for the brake and clutch levers, the handlebars, the wheels and some trim parts. A nod to history, for connoisseurs.
