Born in 750 cm3, gentrified in 1100, here it is now available with the famous Guzzi displacement: 850 cm3. Or more exactly 877, due to a reduction of the maousse 1100 which equips the large models of the Italian manufacturer. The 850 is not the 750 with a little more displacement… No, no, it’s the 1100 with the only differences being the different cubing and redesigned cylinder head covers. Cousin of the 850 Griso presented at the same time, the Breva adopts engine management more suited to its touring roadster concept, with a little less power and torque. ABS is available as an option, as is a nice set of accessories. Initially, the Breva 850 was positioned just below the psychological bar of 10,000 € and came up against the BMW R 850 R. The price has jumped this barrier over time. In its time, the competing Behème perhaps had a cachet a bit more bourgeois but also a saltier note. It’s up to you to see if you can resist the charms of the side bowls and Mandello’s eagle..
