Ducati dealer builds one-offs

US Ducati dealer MotoCorsa has built a Panigale V4 in Nicky Hayden trim. The one-off is to be auctioned in favor of the Nicky Hayden Foundation.

In May 2017, the American Superbike star and MotoGP world champion from 2006 had a fatal accident in Italy in a road bike accident. Now the large US Ducati dealer MotoCorsa from Portland has built a tribute bike for the racing driver, which was presented as part of the MotoGP run in Texas and is later to be auctioned on ebay for the benefit of the Nicky Hayden Foundation. The auction will also carry a buy-it-now price, which is based on Hayden number 69 at $ 69,900. Hayden, who last grabbed the handlebars for Honda in the Superbike World Championship, was from 2009 to 2013 for D.ucati at the start in MotoGP.

Unique with many fine parts

The Ducati Panigale V4 built by MotoCorsa is based on Hayden’s factory racing motorcycle from the 2012 MotoGP season. In addition, the bike has been extensively upgraded with parts from the Ducati Performance program. The Panigale V4 has, among other things, an Akrapovic exhaust, the finest Ohlins spring elements, ultra-light BST carbon rims, an Ohlins steering damper, a dry clutch kit, a racing footrest system and various carbon covers.

The auction for the MotoCorsa Ducati Panigale V4 Tribute Nicky Hayden is set to rise in the summer, MotoCorsa has not yet given an exact date.
