Present at the start of the week in Milan (Italy) for the official launch of his Moto2 Forward team, will team up with his compatriot Lorenzo Baldassarri, 9th in the 2015 Moto2 championship within the same structure.

Born a few years after the divorce of Graziano and Stefania Rossi, the parents of Valentino Rossi, Luca Marini turned to the relatively young motorcycle, under the watchful eye of his gifted half-brother who recently integrated him into his VR46 Academy. Last year he finished the CEV Moto2 championship in 5th place.

Opposite with his famous half-brother after their victory in a friendly dirt-track race in the Ranch at n ° 46, this discreet and diligent young man entered the Grands Prix in 2016 for his first full season, just right. 20 years after the debut of the "Doctor" in GP125. Yep, 20 years old !

The young man has high hopes for this first year, aware that his career will be followed with the greatest attention due to his family link with the MotoGP star. The Doctor’s half-brother has already done two wildcards on the Misano circuit (Italy): the first in which he fell in the first turns, followed by a freelance in 2015 which he completed, one minute from the winner Johann Zarco.

"My first feelings after the Jerez tests are really positive. I feel very good on this Kalex 2016. Now we have to gain confidence and above all, during the first races, I will have to learn the circuits where I have not yet I have adapted well to the team. Thanks to them and the support of the VR46 Riders Academy, I will evolve very quickly. For my part, I will give everything ".
