Motorcycle concept art by Jakusa Design

Dream bikes put on paper

Jakusa Design has made some remarkable motorcycle concept drawings from various manufacturers that we would not like to withhold from you. There are fictional bikes from Simson, Ducati, Aprilia and many more.

Hinter Jakusa Design hides the Hungarian designer Tamas Jakus, who primarily deals with the conception of various concept bikes. However, Jakus is not limited to motorcycles – some renderings of boats and cars were also created by the Hungarian. In this article, however, we will concentrate on the fictional two-wheelers that are quite impressive.

From the Ducati V4 to the Simson

Technical data, the naming of individual components and detailed information on the individual creations by Tamas Jakus are of course not available. Rather, the Hungarian puts his ideas impressively on paper, or rather on the digital screen, and lets his imagination run wild. This resulted in some visually very impressive concept bikes, which can be seen in the picture gallery attached above. For most of the bikes shown there, Jakus takes already existing models as a model and develops them further according to his ideas.

The Ducati V4 Heritage is just one of several well-made concept bikes from Tamas Jakus.

The designer seems to be particularly impressed by Italian motorcycles – at least many of his drawings are based on Ducati and Aprilia motorcycles. But also other manufacturers that we hadn’t expected here – for example MZ or Simson – the Hungarian has on the radar alongside industry heavyweights such as BMW and Triumph. Of course, electrically powered concept bikes, which should meet the ravages of time, should not be missing in the artist portfolio. Last but not least, there are also various two-wheeler concepts in the portfolio that cannot be associated with any manufacturer. The fact that Tamas Jakus’s renderings are also well received by industry experts is shown by the fact that the Hungarian was awarded the so-called "Harrison Award" was awarded, with which successful concepts are recognized.

Conclusion

Concept bikes, be it officially prototypes shown by the manufacturers or fictional works by talented designers, are usually very visually inspiring. The renderings made by Jakusa Design are also something for the eye. It’s just a shame that the bikes shown will probably never fall off the assembly line.
