Bruno Schiltz winner of the 15th Rallye du Dourdou

After a beating of anthology, the fifteenth edition of the Dourdou rally, third round of the 2018 championship, is won by the reigning French champion Bruno Schiltz, riding his JMP Racing Aprilia 1100 Tuono. Report.

Previously the final round of the French championship, the Dourdou rally this weekend in Villecomtal (12) was this year the third race of the 2018 season. Mid-championship round (3/5), it is therefore considered the turning point….

Winner of the rally by winning the first stage and finishing third in stage 2, Bruno Schiltz (Aprilia 1100 Tuono) regains only a few points in the provisional on Julien Toniutti (Aprilia 1000 Tuono) who wins the second stage and retains the lead of the championship 2018.

A stage victory obtained by Julien with the force of his wrist (right!) Against a motivated competition, not only that of Bruno Schiltz but also of the young Romain Cauquil (KTM 690 Duke CTM83), leader of the Rallye 2 category (the less than 700 cc), now: he will finish second in this Dourdou rally.

Without forgetting the excellent Luc Breban (Husqvarna 701) who will win two specials among the first seven, before going to the fault in the eighth. In short, the baston was world champion this weekend on the back roads of Aveyron among the 140 registered drivers..
