After a short prologue loop for a blank pass through the specials as a recognition, it was off for the 269 kilometers of this first stage.

By winning five of the six stages of the first stage, Bruno Schiltz is clearly showing his ambitions. Championship leader Julien Toniutti only wins the last special of the stage, with 47 hundredths of a second better than Bruno who stuck more than 7 seconds in five specials. !

Behind, there was also a big fight: from the first passage in the first special (Flat), Romain Cauquil, leader of Rallye 2, obtained the second fastest time less than two seconds behind Bruno Schiltz. The third fastest time goes to Maxime David (Kawasaki ZX6R), current second in Rally 1, less than 2 tenths behind Romain.

David will unfortunately not finish the stage due to mechanical problems in the last part of the stage.

We will also note the performance of Luc Breban (Husqvarna 701), in a fight for first place in Rally 2: Luc takes third scratch times behind Bruno Schiltz and Julien Toniutti on three of the six stages of the stage !

A little nod to the Assemat / Gratiot couple, a duo at the controls of a Yamaha MT-10, which ranks seventh in the scratch of this first stage (4th Maxi SW Motech rally), but who must forfeit for the second stage following the consequences of a fall during the day…

At the end of this first stage, Bruno Schiltz collects the jackpot of points for the day but takes only 5 more than the leader in the provisional championship, Julien Toniutti who finishes second.
