"It’s the biggest victory of my career, I’ve dreamed of it since I was little," says Watson, stressing that he is also "the first British driver to win Le Touquet and the first KTM driver since 30 years".

"I got off to a good start and went for it trying to be as smart as possible," continues the Yamaha rider. “The choice of lines was crucial and during the first few laps there were a lot of slower riders on the track. Everything was going well and just after the last pit stop I was ready to give my all for the victory … retirements are part of the race, you have to stay positive and keep moving forward ".
