Moteo, the motorized two-wheeler division of the Belgian group Alcopa, has just announced the cessation of the distribution activities of its French subsidiary Re’action based in the Lille suburbs. The Hallènes-lez-Haubourdin (59) site will cease operations on February 22 and the distribution of brands hitherto provided by Re’action (Nissin, Kenda, Vector and Mivv) will continue via Moteo and its European subsidiaries..

"The deterioration of the motorized two-wheeler market in Western Europe has led management to refocus its distribution subsidiaries by country", explains Moteo, which at the end of 2014 undertook the reorganization of its logistics activities for the distribution of adaptable parts and accessories on the ten European countries where the group operates.

The accounts of Re’action, a company created in 1994 which became a subsidiary of Moteo in 2004, had been in the red since 2009, with in particular some 334,000 euros in losses in 2013 for a turnover of 7 million euros.
