Stuart Garner does not skimp on the means to relaunch Norton, the British brand of motorcycles which he acquired in 2008: judging his former premises of 1400 m² "outdated", the English businessman transferred the head office by Norton Motorcycles in Donington Hall, a luxury property of 45,000 m² surrounded by 25 hectares of land !

"Donington Hall is a unique and very Anglo-Saxon blend of style, strength and quality, three attributes that characterize Norton," commented Garner, who bought the premises from Bristish Airways..

"Beyond the romance and the architecture of the place, the Donington Hall is a decidedly modern building of 45,000 square meters (Hastings House) which will house the new production site and the design offices of Norton Motorcycles".

“It became clear to us some time ago that our current building was outdated. Having such an infrastructure within two kilometers of the road is really ideal. It will allow Norton to grow its business by focusing on ‘one manufacturing in England, by English hands, "to develop exports and create jobs", assures the ambitious owner and general manager of Norton Motorcycles.

For the record, Norton has been trying to reinvest in the front of the motorcycling scene since 2008 under the leadership of Stuart Garner, a businessman who brought the prestigious English manufacturer out of a coma where she had been plunged since 1978 (read in particular).

Located a stone’s throw from the Donington Park circuit, the brand relies on its past prestige to get back to business, by offering three beautiful neo-retro versions inspired by the famous "Commando" (see in particular MNC).

Motorized by a 961cc parallel twin-cylinder developing 80 hp, these Commando 961 SF, 961 Cafe Racer and 961 Sport are distributed in France by the dealership. Base price: 20,530 euros including tax for the Sport model! Yes still…
