Sales, turnover, employment: KTM explodes everything in 2013
2013 is another record year for KTM! The Austrian manufacturer retains its status as No. 1 in Europe thanks to its 123,859 motorcycles (off-road and road) sold around the world. Turnover and number of employees also increased.
Having become the leading European motorcycle manufacturer last year (thanks to a 32% sales jump in sales), KTM retained its rank in 2013 by registering 123,859 motorcycles, improving in the process its previous mark of +15.6 %.
"For the third year in a row, the Austrian motorcycle brand has seen the strongest growth in its sector", we congratulate Mattighofen."At the same time, the overall turnover increased by + 17%, reaching 716.3 million euros", so that the orange mark"predicts a record result for 2013".
The key to its success? KTM believes it resides in "the implementation of a global product strategy and positioning in emerging markets such as Asia and South AmericaMNC adds that the arrival of the 1190 Adventure is certainly not unrelated to the increase in sales of KTM, nor to that of its turnover….
Chantilly on the Sachertorte: "as of December 31, the KTM group employed 1,849 people worldwide, the highest number in its history. In fact, to support its global growth, KTM added 150 additional people to its workforce during the 2013 financial year."…
Naturally, Katoche does not intend to stop on such a good road (and on such a good road, read our!): "KTM will continue its global product strategy and expects further sales and revenue growth for fiscal 2014". Pressed, these oranges !
