What are the main players in the motorcycle world doing during the lockdown linked to the Covid-19 pandemic? Sebastien Gimbert, who has just retired from a pilot to devote himself to his driving school, manage his motorcycle shop and coach his son Johan, confided in the Journal moto du Net.

MNC: Where are you confined ?

Sebastien gimbert : At home in my house in Frejus with my wife Alexandra, my daughter Jade and my son Johan.

MNC: How are your days going? ?

S. G. : I organize my son Johan’s schedule on his mental and physical preparation. He forces me to stay in shape, because I try to train with him so that he is on top for the opening of the 300 world championship. I try to manage the future of all my business between my store , my Race Experience Shop motorcycle preparation workshop and my pilot school for children and adults …

MNC: What do you miss the most ?

S. G. : Take a motorcycle ride! What I miss the least is not having time for myself.

MNC: Are you afraid ?

S. G. : I’m afraid this situation will last a long time, because it would be catastrophic for our passion for two-wheelers between business and racing. And I’m afraid it will happen again !

MNC: A book, a film, a series, a record to recommend ?

S. G. : A book I don’t know, surely a motorcycle magazine … An "Equalizer" film, a "Cold Play" disc.

MNC: Your Favorite Motorcycle Video ?

S. G. : I love reviewing races in which I have participated with my son, so that he does not make the same mistakes as me! It’s funny.

MNC: The first thing you will do at the end of the lockdown ?

S. G. : I load the truck towards a circuit with Johan to train and where I will try to follow him. But also to enjoy life and every moment with the family.
