The Rhône gendarmerie returns your stolen motorcycle !
The gendarmerie sometimes confiscates motorcycles that are too fast … but can also return a stolen motorcycle to their owner, as in the Rhône after a successful search of a thief’s cache … Will you find yours? ? Explanations.
The Francheville brigade and the Arbresle research brigade, with the Dardilly gendarmerie surveillance and intervention platoon (PSIG) and elements of EGM 13/5 from Sathonay-Camp, in the west and the north of Lyon, on Tuesday arrested a motorcycle thief in Vaulx-en-Velin (69).

Energumène, "implicated in numerous break-ins in boxes in western Lyon and in the departments of Ain, Isère and Savoie, had been operating since mid-August 2019", indicates the Rhône gendarmerie.
"During the search carried out in a cache of the city in which he resides, a large booty was discovered", continue the investigators: "high displacement motorcycles, mountain bikes, motorcycle helmets, various tools, skis, golf clubs, car spare parts ", etc..
However, if some owners of these stolen objects and motorcycles could be easily identified, several others could not be because of a lack of elements allowing them to be traced. This is why the Rhône gendarmerie invites "anyone recognizing the objects appearing in these photos to report to the Francheville brigade at 04.78.59.40.40".
