For the 50th anniversary of the Tours fighter aviation school, the prestigious Italian brand MV Agusta is offering a very limited series of its latest F4 RR. A perfect match between elite and prestige… Presentation.

To celebrate the fiftieth anniversary of the Tours fighter aviation school, MV Agusta and Jean-Marc Deletang (dealer of the prestigious Italian brand in Chambray-les-Tours and Blois) unveiled a limited series of the F4 RR. And the meeting of June 16 between MV Agusta and the Tours fighter aviation school, announced on the Journal moto du Net (read), fell particularly well for the master of ceremonies, Giacomo Agostini himself, who was celebrating that day his 69 years…

Giacomo Agostini Patrice Court-Fortune

The legendary pilot with 15 world championship titles – including 13 on MV Agusta! – was therefore ideally suited to unveil the special F4 RR Hunting Aviation School in the colors of the 705 air base.

Jean-Marc Deletang, team manager of Team Deletang and MV Agusta dealer in Chambray-les-Tours (37), also took the opportunity to unveil his team committed to the next Dark Dog Moto Tour … on MV Agusta , naturally !

Finally, the third part of this historic day: the presentation of a partnership agreement between MV Agusta and Wine and Trust, a wine trading company…

The F4 RR "fighter plane"

"MV Agusta’s image of prestige and class fits perfectly with that of the aviation elite", summarizes Claudio Rizzotto, MV Agusta communications manager, emphasizing the exceptional character of this extraordinary F4..

Unveiled by Giacomo Agostini and Captain Patrice Court-Fortune, fighter pilot instructor from 705 air base, main organizer of this meeting, the beauty is parked next to the Alphajet decorated for the fiftieth anniversary of the aviation school of hunt.

Superb in its gray and blue dress decked out with the stork and the star – the logo of the base 705 -, the MV Agusta F4 RR thus sees its sharp lines particularly highlighted.

Obviously, the exception has a price … and what a price: the MV Agusta F4 RR special Hunting School will only be released in ten copies which will be sold at more than double a "normal" F4 RR, or around 45 000 euros !

In reality, an eleventh unnumbered copy is dedicated to the Tours fighter aviation school, but the other ten motorcycles will bear their serial number, from 1 to 10, on a gold plate placed on the upper crown..

Beautiful in every detail, finished to perfection, this F4 is not more efficient or better equipped than the "ordinary" version, but it brings out more the class and the sublime of MV Agusta, a bit like Ferrari in the world automotive.

To honor this’ association between the sumptuous Italian brand and the elite French aviation school, four Alphajets on patrol, led by Captain Court-Fortune as leader, made a low altitude pass just above the " paddock "Motul / MV Agusta.

And as the planes return to the parking lot, Ago takes the controls of the exceptional MV Agusta F4 RR "Fighter Aviation School" and comes to meet the leader of the patrol to exchange his helmet with the pilot / captain..

MV Agusta at the Dark Dog Moto Tour

Among the different MVs presented at the Tours air base (F4 2010, Brutale 920, etc.), we could also discover the Brutale 1090 RR Canonball that Team Deletang entered in the Dark Dog Moto Tour 2011 with three drivers: Jean-Marc Deletang himself, Cedric Parmentier and Laurent Cochet.

The perfect understanding between Jean-Marc the leader and Cedric the prodigy rider (actor of a few flashes during the last Dark Dog Moto Tour) lets imagine a solid team that promises excellent results, to follow live at Back to school on the Net Motorcycle Journal !

Four MV Agusta to win…

A competition game has also been set up between the legendary Italian brand and an enthusiast of MV Agusta, Michel Maire, a rally man in his spare time but above all a great wine merchant….

1000 numbered boxes each containing five bottles of very great Bordeaux, a carafe engraved with the initials of MV Agusta with its stopper also engraved and an autographed painting representing Giacomo Agostini are sold at a price of 1312 euros.

A draw will take place at the next Milan Motor Show and four winners will be awarded two MV Agusta F3, one F3 Oro and one F4 RR respectively! Admittedly, the raffle ticket is expensive, but given the prizes and the chances of winning (1/250), you may be tempted to hit the holiday pot….

Part of the profits collected will also be donated in sponsorship to MV Agusta pilots, all disciplines combined. Applications must be sent before the end of the year to Wine and Trust.
