Begun in 1986, the VFR saga has largely contributed to establishing the reputation of the world’s leading manufacturer: a clever mix of sport and road, the machine quickly acquired its letters of nobility among bikers from all walks of life seduced by its versatility, reliability and homogeneity.

However, 23 years – and several evolutions – later, Honda dares to revolutionize its icon and unveils the one that many have been impatiently waiting for since the Cologne show: the VFR1200F !

Clearly breaking with the style of the 800 VRF V-TEC (read our), the lines of the new muse of the winged crest demonstrate inventiveness and harmony..

With no sharp shape or protruding edges, the new VFR 1200 adopts a fluid design and features a unique and patented multi-layered side fairing. According to the engineers in charge of this project so dear to the Japanese brand, this particular arrangement would have two functions.
