The Taiwanese manufacturer Kymco presents in Milan some ‘new’ interesting scooters but already unveiled in 2011, a small economical motorcycle intended for teenagers and an electric scooter of neo-retro inspiration. Presentations.

Kymco K-PW 50/125 cm3

Compact and stylish, this small motorcycle with a modern and aggressive style, with headlight with two superimposed optics, will be presented by the Taiwanese manufacturer at the Eicma show in Milan. Economical, it receives a tubular frame and swingarm, a small 4.5L tank, 17-inch wheels, a 276mm front disc brake and a simple 140mm drum brake at the rear..

Equipped with a semi-automatic 4-speed gearbox, it will be available in versions 50 (€ 1,499) and 125 (€ 1,799) with air cooling, with a respective power of 2.04 and 8.17 horsepower, for a dry weight from 100 to 102 kg depending on the model. These models will be available from January 2013 in the Kymco network.

K-XCT 125i

Building on the success of its Dink Street scooter, Kymco offers in 2013 a model with an even more aggressive look, called K-XCT.

This scooter will have the same single-cylinder 4-stroke 125 cm3 injection and liquid cooling as its predecessor, with a power of 15 horsepower at 9000 rpm. More compact and a little lighter (-5 kg dry) than the Dink Street, the X-XCT should be available in the first quarter of 2013.

Xciting 400i

Just as aggressive as the K-XCT, the Xcinting 400i features a new 399cc 4-stroke liquid-cooled engine with electronic fuel injection.

A modern and powerful engine developing 36 hp at 7,500 rpm for 37 Nm of torque at 6,000 rpm, which should easily pull the 189 kg dry weight of the machine.

The chassis is unique with a frame called "dual under bone", designed to greatly improve handling while reducing engine vibrations. The Xciting 400i will have 15- and 14-inch wheels, a well-made hydraulic fork and shock absorber combination, as well as powerful braking with floating front brake discs paired with radial-mounted calipers.
