Relaunched in form, the Paris Motorcycle, Scooter, Quad and Equipment Show will open its doors to the public from December 1 to 6, 2015 at the Porte de Versailles Exhibition Center. Everything you need to know about the Paris Motorcycle Show
Among the objectives targeted by AMC Promotion, organizer of this French motorcycle high mass, one of the first will obviously be to do at least as well, or even better in terms of attendance. During the, "more than 180,000 visitors" would have walked the Parisian alleys against 183,026 in 2011.
A very honorable attendance but achieved in six days of exhibition (from Tuesday to Sunday), an additional day compared to the previous edition.
On site, this lower attendance was clearly felt, especially in the middle of the week when the aisles of the show were particularly empty fluids.
To encourage the arrival of visitors, in-depth work must imperatively be carried out with exhibitors to compensate for the absence of during the French fair, one of the .
Due to its new position in the calendar, the Paris Motor Show is indeed passing after all the major European motorcycle events, in particular where a majority of new models are now presented. Result: in Paris, the models exhibited do not have the almost magical appeal of motorcycles and scooters unveiled "live" in front of visitors..
Pressure on manufacturers
Aware of this aspect, the organizer claims to work hand in hand with those concerned to give the Paris Salon the luster to which it can – and must – claim. As such, AMC Promotion explains that it brings together "all the players, with the common desire to express the dynamism of the sector", and in particular the International Chamber of Automobile and Motorcycle Syndicates (CSIAM).
"The motorized 2-wheeler manufacturers who are members of the CSIAM are working intensely with the organizer so that this 2015 edition of the Motorcycle Show allows visitors and all 2WD enthusiasts to discover all the new products", assures Thierry Archambault, president CSIAM delegate.
Hopefully everyone agrees to "play the game", which is by no means obvious as manufacturers are reluctant to unveil major novelties so late in the year..
Will the organizer manage to decide them and thus win his "Paris"? In any case, it would be an excellent way to justify the new increase in the price of admission, which went from € 14 in 2013 to € 16 in 2015 (preferential rate before September 30: see below).
Program, schedules and prices of the 2015 Paris Motorcycle Show
Regarding the program, in addition to the stands of each manufacturer and equipment manufacturers spread over "more than 35,000 m2", several activities will be set up for six days: test track and initiation dedicated to young people, concerts, space "Passion vintage ", but also an" Urbanconnect "course which will highlight all" connected "products or products using" new energies ".
