Yamaha surfs the vintage trend and customization with Faster Sons

Yamaha – which is celebrating its 60th anniversary this year – never ceases to associate its image with that of motorcycle preparations of all kinds, especially within the framework of its Yard Built project and its often successful achievements based on XJR1300, SR400 and XV950 Bolt.

Decided to continue in this "trendy" path – vintage and customization are very fashionable at the moment – the tuning fork manufacturer is launching a new concept called "Faster Sons", which revolves around motorcycles of the past to inspire the creation of models of today and tomorrow.

 "Build the bike of your dreams: this internal work slogan has now become our motto, a leitmotif that will inspire the Sport Heritage range (Bolt, V-Max, XJR and SR400 in particular, Editor’s note) of tomorrow, so that riding remains the pleasure ultimate ", says – obviously very inspired! – the Japanese manufacturer.

To illustrate its initiative, Yamaha made a very nice video in which a "fast son" follows in his father’s footsteps by designing preparations that are not pricked by worms, in particular an improbable cafe racer based on the MT-07 roadster (here- above)…
