BMW recalls 142 S 1000 RR models in France
BMW is currently launching a recall campaign on its S1000RR sports motorcycles, which could pose a risk of oil leakage due to a faulty fitting. Explanations.
The motorcycles concerned by this new BMW recall are the S1000RR manufactured between September 5, 2018 and August 27, 2019 (numbers E1 * 168/2013 * 00091, type 0E21 / 0E23), or "142 models for France", specifies the French subsidiary of the German manufacturer interviewed by MNC.

"The resistance of the material of the inlet and outlet pipes in the oil cooler is insufficient", indicates the recall campaign, stressing that "cracks could occur at the connection", which could cause "a leak of oil on the rear wheel "and therefore" increase the risk of an accident ".
